AI Readiness & Strategy
AI readiness and strategy: know where AI fits before you invest
AI readiness and strategy: know where AI fits before you investYour team can open ChatGPT or Claude today. Making AI work across your business, connected to your website, CRM and data, with guardrails people actually follow, is the hard part. Our AI readiness review gives you a clear, prioritised plan in weeks, not months.
Learn moreAI is already in your business. It just isn’t planned.
That’s where things start to fall apart.
- Staff using AI tools with no policy or privacy guardrails
- AI tools paid for but barely used
- AI not connected to your website, CRM or data
- AI search tools recommending competitors, not you
- No clear idea where AI would actually help
It should be built properly, as part of a connected system.
What good AI adoption looks like
- A short list of use cases ranked by value and effort
- Clear rules on what data can and can’t be used
- AI connected to the systems where your work happens
- A team that’s trained and confident, not guessing
Our approach
Platform and systems mapping
A clear map of every platform in use today, and how they currently connect (or don’t).
Integration planning
Integration requirements are defined before platforms are selected or built, not after.
Ecosystem governance
Clear ownership and maintenance responsibilities, so the ecosystem doesn’t degrade over time.

About AI Readiness & Strategy
What is an AI readiness review?
A short, structured review of where AI could genuinely help your business and what needs to be in place first. We look at the platforms you already use, how they connect and the state of your data. You come away with a clear, prioritised plan and guardrails, in weeks rather than months. It sits within our wider Digital Transformation Consulting work, so AI decisions are made alongside your systems rather than in isolation.
Do we still need an AI strategy if our team already uses ChatGPT or Claude?<
Individual use is a good start, but it isn't the same as making AI work across the business. The hard part is connecting AI to your website, CRM and data, and setting rules people actually follow about what it can access, what it can say and when a person checks the output. A strategy turns scattered experiments into a plan. If your team mainly needs confidence with the tools, our AI Training & Content Workflows service covers hands-on workshops and a usable AI policy.
What do we get at the end of the review?
A prioritised plan you can act on, not a general report. It sets out where AI fits first, what needs fixing before you start, which tools or platforms suit your situation and the guardrails that should apply from day one. It's documented so your team can revisit it, and it feeds directly into Digital Strategy & Roadmapping if you want the work sequenced alongside your other digital priorities.
Does our data need to be in good shape before we use AI?
Often, yes. AI is only as reliable as the information it draws on, and scattered, duplicated or outdated customer and content data is the most common thing holding it back. The review checks the quality and structure of your data and knowledge base, and flags what to fix first. That might be CRM Strategy & Setup work, or unifying records through a customer data platform, before any AI is switched on.
How do you manage privacy, security and accuracy risks?
By setting guardrails before anything goes live: what data AI can access, which approved content it answers from, when a person must review its output and how activity is logged. Those guardrails form the basis of an AI policy, and our AI Training & Content Workflows service can turn them into plain-English guidance your team follows. We're not legal advisers, so your legal or compliance lead should review the policy. See Website Security & Accessibility for how we approach secure builds more broadly.
